It's been too long since I listened to prog breaks. Thanks for the mix.

This set was all kinds of wicked. Not a single track I didn't like, and the mixing was awesome as usual. Nice one mate :)

Thanks Stu. I thought this'd be up your alley, because I remember you liking the breaks at the end of my last mix.

I really do love me some prog breaks. Or any breaks, for that matter. I was really sad that the whole UK breaks scene pretty much died out the way it did :(

Good prog breaks is quite hard to come across though, as I don't think too many people are making it these days.

Still haven't listened to this, but I will get around to it soon. I've been carpooling with a guy from work and thus can't listen to any music on the way there and back, and I can't wear headphones at work either.

This is an absolutely sublime mix. Perhaps your best work to date. The mixing is great - I noticed one bit that seemed a little bit off harmonically around the late 30 minute mark, but besides that, perfect.

The flow is nice, particularly the little lift with the NDi track (I can see why you were pleased to stumble upon that). Track selection is tops too.

99/100.

You lose a point for giving this to me in crap audio quality. :p

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm very proud of how this turned out, myself.

It's all mixed from 320kps source files, but I rendered it at 256 because I can't really hear the difference and it saves time and space. I can do a 320 rip if you genuinely think it sounds better.

Oh, and there's nothing being mixed in the 30th minute.

When I said late 30th minute I meant somewhere between the 35-40 minute mark.

On the audio quality, that was a joke because I listened to this on computer speakers and wouldn't be able to hear anyway, but I'm sure you realise that 320 kbps rendered down to 256 kbps is in reality far less than that?

I have no idea about the workings of MP3 rendering. Never bothered to read up on it.

The harmonic problem is probably the intro to NDi's track. I could hear that it was slightly out of key, but I didn't want to slam the fader because the fat pad coming into the mix kept the energy up, and made the transition feel nicely forboding.

Hey Jack,

My initial thoughts are that this is an absolutely superb mix. I listened to the first half an hour or so (fell asleep to it) and it was just downright beautiful. Wow! The music is so nice, and the mixing and programming are so tight!

Anyway that is just my initial impression. I am definitely going to listen to this a few more times and will post more feedback once I've done that. I'm really impressed with what I've hears so far though I must say.

I am liking this from the brief background run I gave it. Will whack it onto the mp3 for a proper headphone workout over the week and get back to you.

Suffice to say it's good though man!
