I can imagine. My dad had some pretty boring hobbies, he got his Masters Degree in Biology and wrote his thesis on The Eating and Mating Habits of the Southern Bog Lemming. He spent days dissecting those little ers :p Any time we would go on a long drive together, he would always point out the Blue Breasted Whippersnapper or whatever and I would just be like "oh... cool." :(
