| My trusty M-Audio MIDISport 8x8 has been rock solid for years, but I wanted to re-route some of my MIDI presets over the weekend for the first time since moving to Vista and discovered that the interface software isn't compatible with Vista, even though the drivers work fine. So, I'm either stuck with my current configuration since I can't alter the routings from the hardware itself, or I need to replace the unit with something that is compatible with Vista, and hopefully Windows 7 as well. I'm considering the MOTU Micro Lite, since it's the only current model I can't find that meets my minimum needs (5 ins and outs) and appears to be Vista-compatible. Anybody used one with Vista (and/or Windows 7)? Any other suggestions? Thanks! |
