Hello Everyone,
I'm getting the below home theater system in about a week or so:

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which kind of wire I will need to get in order to hook up the speakers/subwoofer to the reciever. Here is a back view of it as well:

I would appreciate any help anyone could give me. Also, my tv is only a little 13" and has 3 outputs on the front of it which I plug in my Super Nintendo into. Will I need to connect those jacks to the reciever in order to get surround sound?
Thanks!
Steve (moron with sound setup) :) |

well you can go crazy and buy Monster Cable for this system, but honestly thats just silly...
This isn't a system you should be spending lots of money on wires.. I'm not knocking it, just that lower end equipment doesn't require expensive wiring..
Just go with wires about 2x thicker than the factory ones, and with the sub maybe a little thicker... But then again with a system like this, you are unlikely to notice differences in sound quality.. :D
Remember the sales guy will try to pitch expensive wiring, or wiring packages, don't fall for it.... I've got some expensive wiring, but my rears are about 2x further away than most set ups, so I had to get really quality wiring to avoid any sound degredation...
Have fun with your system, I'm sure it will make you very happy :D
Cheers,
Thor.... |

Oh yeah, with the super nintendo, just hook up the yellow (video) wire into the TV, and the white/red audio in the back of the reciever for your system....
