Best (and cheapest) place to buy mainstream mp3's?

I haven't bought mainstream music in so long, I don't know where the cheap sites are. Any recommendations?

Mainstream as in non-electronic?

I hate to say it (because I wish Steve Jobs a horrendous untimely death almost everyday), but Apple seems to have the cheapest and the most (meaning almost any artist) music on the market via iTunes. Amazon has a good selection as well and most of their songs are also in the 99-cent range. I usually stick with iTunes, but as soon as I buy anything, I convert the file to mp3 and make sure I don't leave that mp3 in my iTunes folder.

I just bought the new Shinedown album and am looking forward to the latest Apocalyptica, Seether and some Dj Sammy.

I'm always shopping on itunes. I haven't looked anywhere else except the torrents. But if you want to stay legal, itunes.

Yeah, I was looking for something a little cheaper since I will be buying a gaggle of tracks. My folder with all of my Depeche Mode and ETBG tracks corrupted and I didn't have a back up. I actually found a site that is cheaper that had all of the B side tracks for DM. I had about 150 tracks, which would cost a pretty penny if I replaced using itunes.

oh i would torrent then. :D
