in my hometown (south florida) i am excellent with directions...i grew up there so i know all the highways and streets, and at any given time i can point to which way is east (the BEACH! hehe). now i moved to tampa area w/ my dad and i have been here for 5 months and i still havent memorized any of the streets or which way is east or west...probably cuz i hate it here and im moving back to ft.lauderdale soon:) also...it has always been my experience that girls are absolute idiots when it comes to directions. i remember in high school my gfs couldn't even give me proper directions to their HOUSE that they've probably lived in for 10 years! that is just beyond me....and no offense to anyone i hope. im sure it has to do w/ the fact that i went to high school w/ a bunch of rich bimbos who dont know their ass from their elbow....
as far as having a sense of direction in general...i would say im average to below average. when someone just tells me, "hey make a right here and then left and then go here and then bla bla bla" by the time they're done telling me i've forgotten! hehe so i have to write everything down then im ok:) |
