alrighty peoples, i'm lookin for a dual-cd deck (specifically something by AmericanDJ). To save me having to order from the states, I'd like to get it somewhere relatively close to me.

Does anyone know of a good place to purchase such equipment around London or Windsor (or surrounding area)?

Any help is much appreciated!!

there is actually a store in hamilton, downtown. it just opened, i wish i could remember its name. but it caters specifically to dj's. decks, vynel, bags, cases, mixers... everything. hope that helps a bit.

well, i was thinking of something closer to london or windsor...(i'm pretty much half-way between the two)

i know of a couple stores in london that carry TT's & mixers, but none that carry any decent brands of cd-decks.

can anyone else help?

btw: thanks to the guys who've helped already :)

Try camping out ebay for a while, there's always some worthwhile stuff being sold there. If you're smart and lucky you'll manage to nab a good deal for sure. I saw a pair of tech-12's with cartridges and a 3-channel Numark mixer in a form-fit coffin case for about $1200 Canadian.... if only I wasn't broke at the time.....

I don't know good prices on cd decks, but take a look at http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=1363113327 or http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&item=890501091

sorry for bringing up this old thread but it i wanted to share soemthings

i've been asking around places for quotes for the following package:
2 stanton st-100
stanton mk6f mixer
stanton 505 cartridges
slipmats,cables..etc

i stopped by The DJ Den today, he told me about 1670$ with some discount coz it was a package. then later when i got home i read the email i recieved from Metro Sound, and their price is 1500$. as abbas said, dj den is not that great of a place, not many vinyl or good equipment either. just thought id share this if anyone is in the market for new tt's. id prefer buying used equipment, but noone has what i want and is willing to sell it :(

Yeah its not a great place, but the guy seems to be willing to order vinyl/equipment.....I'm looking for Sennheiser HD280 headfones and not having much luck around here and as for vinyl he said it usually doesnt take him long unless its rare ofcourse.....but I never tried him out yet, maybe I will sometime soon!
