often times i see words tossed around here which i don't know the meaning of. i've searched google a few times & i end up with classical definitions, which is fine for the most part but i'd like to get some specifics. so for an example i present flaming june since it covers mostly everything i'm looking for (i think):
from 0:00 to 1:47 there's the intro, but also the 'main melody' is first played at 0:51 of the song. any proper term for this?
from 1:47 to 3:48 there is a distinct change in melody. what is this? seems common in trance songs.
from 3:48 to 4:47 it dies down, & then builds up. i want to call this the crescendo but i'm not sure.
from 4:47 to 6:25 is the return of the aforementioned 'main melody' in full force (bassline, high-hats, etc.). is there a term for this?
from 6:25 to 8:37 the song settles down & kind of plays around with the 'main melody'. is this just the ending or is it called something different?
