2---1---6

| Sorry Fir3start3er, 19 is not it |
|

| Explain your answers if you can.... otherwise it only takes a few ppl to guess the answer |
|

Ok...why I thought it was 19...
1 + 2 (x2) = 5
2 + 1 (x3) = 6
3 + 4 (x4) = 19 ? |

ok, since your last one can be solved using simple addition, i will try my luck using addition again
hopefully its not just using addition to conform to a linear progression as follows:
1 + 2 + 5 = 8
2 + 1 + 6 = 9
3 + 4 + 3 = 10
Using pattern recognition gives you a sense that the number should be odd, as all the numbers that make an "x" shape are odd, and the others are even
x-x
-x-
x-x
but i only said that to make it a little more complex for myself |

exactly what I was thinking
3 |

| 3 is correct, but you gave a reason other than what I was looking for. Think of another way that 3 would satisfy the relationship. |

3 is correct because...
125 = 5³
216 = 6³
343 = 7³ |
