definitely 1000x better than EZ, in fact I texted somebody saying the same thing, & that was even before armin came on. blake tore up the place and played a great set. by the time armin came on everybody was already pumped. and armin came on sweet & strong. I'd say this is the best set I've enjoyed from him since bklyn warehouse, since I haven't been feeling him much recently. he started off very strong with that bt remix, this moment & the jerome isma ae mj remix, then the remix of pvd's home, a cheesy track which I do like. that set opener by itself satisfied my craving fully. I was also happy to hear burned with desire remix, that orig song is so much better than all the songs on his imagine cd, haven't heard it in a while.
the rain was ok, no downpours just sprinkles. might have been part of the reason why the show was such a blast. everybody was having a great time, it was just a party. each song was getting a reaction, the vibe never settled til the end. the crowd reaction and the intimate setting made the show so good. and a big thanks to armin for playing a free set for us. when was the last time a dj like him did that?
all in all, this show is one for the books for me; one of the best events I've been to.
