Thanks, but I'm not looking for traktor or ableton :[

The Torq XPonent seems like exactly what I want and falls within my budget.

luckily you get these bundled with the xponent

umm serato?

Sell the CDJ's, keep the 1200's. Buy Traktor Scratch Pro and a couple of Stanton SCS.3D's to control all your loops and effects and alternatively substitute for the decks when you need to travel.

Be happy.

I don't know if I could go "all digital" all the time, without having a real mixer and decks. Blech. But it's up to you :)

When you buys Traktor a majority of the cost is going toward the Audio8 DJ box (about $400), but Native Instruments now offers the Audio2 and Audio4 soundcards for Traktor instead of just the Audio8. The Audio2 and Audio4 have less inputs/outputs (2 and 4 vs 8, respectively) and are a fraction of the cost.
