As most of you know already, I'm traveling around the world for the next year.. Currently in The Netherlands about 90 minutes from Brussles, Amsterdam, and a few other places.. So they're all game for day trips..
Anyways, like 10 people started telling me travel advice during EZoo, and knowing my crappy memory combined with the insanity of the weekend, I asked folks to e-mail me instead.. so it would be written down, and I could process it later (i.e. now!) but nobody has!
So how about this thread instead.. I'm in the netherlands for another ~30 days.. with car/train access.. and beyond that, I have a rough travel plan here:

So 3 questions:
1. Where have you been that was so amazing I have to go myself?
2. Where have you been that just sucked.. tourist traps, long trips for something just boring (i.e. stonehenge..)
3. Who do you know along the way that I should crash with, hang out with, hook up with, or have coffee with that's willing to share their little part of the world with me?
