TRANCE music in Melbourne

Hi guys,
I recently moved to Melbourne. I would really love to meet some cool people who are into electronic music (trance being my fav). Every1 I meet seems to be into rock, alternative and old . I am all about the future, progress, modern new stuff - and they seem to be stuck in the past. Has any1 else had the same experience?
