| pfft.... last weekend i woke up on a strangers back deck at 3 in the afternoon 10 km from the party i was at with no phone and no wallet and no idea how the hell i got there. oh yeah and i was still drunk, my last confirmed sighting was from my roomate who said i was doing cluster bombs at 6:30 AM |

I've blacked out twice in my life:
1) With 3 friends on vacation in Greece (we were 18 :rolleyes: ). One night went out of control when I was downing a bottle of ouzo on the beach (vodka & ouzo on the balcony earlier). Total blackout 18->morning when I woke up. I collapsed in a bush and they had to carry me home. Apparently I had followed people into their hotel rooms and partied. I had bruises and cuts all over from falling over/into stuff. No bad hangover tho.
2) Wedding with open bar with my Finnish cousins. got bad when I had to drink everything they ordered and didn't like (they were 16 and hadn't been drunk before). I remember snapping out of the black out when I was puking over a reeling into some bushes in the garden. I looked up and some elderly couple were staring and shaking their heads in distaste. Shortly after I went into a taxi to the hotel and had to work so hard not to puke in the car. |

I don't black out ( well it has happened a few odd times ) but
a couple times I've recorded whole evenings when there were parties and things ( digital recorder ). It's funny listening to the recordings later and see how my behavior changes and I'm trying to hit on girls subtly and stuff :haha: |

Anyways, I think it's cool that even though you go unconscious when you blackout, your unconscious mind takes over and you become the voice inside your head.

Blacking out isn't something that happens EVERY time you drink. if it does, then you've got serious problems.
but it just can happen because your body simply cannot process the amount of booze you have in your system. generally this happens when you drink too much too fast. |

LOL again, blacking out can affect ANYONE. it's not just some silly freshmen slut who had three margaritas and passed out. alcoholics who have drank for YEARS can black out if they just have one big bender some night. it's all about amount plus speed of said drink. |
