Founded by globally recognized Anthony Pappa, Red Light District is an outlet for his own productions (alongside Chad Jackson of Group Therapy fame) as well as music from a whole host of artists; some well known and some emerging talents.
Monaque are Serge Que and Alex Monakhov. Serge and Alex are residents at Moscow’s infamous ARMA17 superclub where the pair are well placed to push their brand of tech influenced progressive house that has seen them release on System Recordings, Ultra and Kasey Taylor’s Vapour and Evapour8 imprints.
In it’s original form, CO3 is a classic piece of brooding progressive house. Built around a tight buzzing bassline and given plenty of forward propulsion courtesy of hoover stabs and a jangling cowbell this will find favour with the purists.
Sendcode complete the package with a more pumping take on the original. Retaining most of the original elements, the mix adds in a couple of monster breaks that allow a huge swirling synth pattern to come in and take the plaudits.
