Its amazing to think that just over 12 months ago he sat with an interviewer and she tried to basically slag what he did. Talking about "minimal" being the best etc etc and how Ibiza was all about it.
Then Tijs slaps her down saying "im all about the MAXIMAL". This is far from that. What a turn around. |

Joakenfold is barely remembered now for the good he did with the Goa mix and the legendary Essential Mix tour of 1999 to 2000.
But mostly now hes regarded as a joke by the industry and clubbers alike. Im saying Tiesto could easily get though of like that if he he honestly think this new direction is any good.
Like I say theres bits of it that are quality and works well live. But a full set of it.........I think I would want to vomit |
