DAMN
josbalstr
FML, now i see this thread...21+
:(
josbalstr
what about Armin, will that one be 21+ as well?
DaveT
Spundae events are 21+ unless otherwise noted.

In fact, you should consider any DJ performance 21+ unless otherwise noted.
josbalstr
ive been to that club when its hip-hop and 18+ and when DJ's like Ferry and Armin come to sac that i idolize and i'm actually dying to see, i cant cause its 21+....
what about in 2008 when Above & Beyond were in Sac and it was 18+?
or Tiesto in May when it was 18+? that was a Ruby promotion...
it just seems like us 20 year olds are gettimg screwed w/ these things...
Andrieux
Just wait til you're 21.

This show will be ripper.

i had stated in the other thread that this would be 18+, i guess it looks like i was wrong.

I'm very surprised, because we are bringing in another pretty big trance dj on Nov.12th at empire, and its 18+ that nite.

Did spundae make the decision to do this 21+ strictly?

And also, what promoters is spundae going to be using for this? We were asked to promote for tiesto, so i'm wondering if they are gonna ask the same folks or what

DaveT
No clue who will be doing the local promoting. I know for Tiesto there were a bunch of promoters involved, so not sure who was even in charge of getting a group to get local promotion going

As for the 21+ thing, no clue what's going on. Maybe it is 18+ but it's just never been passed on to the person(s) who do the flyer/ticketsales/etc. For right now, assume it's 21+. Just because Spundae on its own is typically 21+. I haven't had the chance to verify.

The only time I've seen Spundae & Ruby Skye do 18+ is when they're partnered up with Skills or Torq.

And how big is Empire? They could just expect it to fill the place up if they do go with 21+. Armin should be easy, Ferry depends on the size of the place. It could make sense, business wise, to do 21+ vs. 18+. More bar sales, don't have to keep alcohol in a seperate area, etc.
