With the new big events that came up recently in the past couple months/years ... the true flare of Montreal's scene kind of faded away :(. So we're sadly left right now with the good memories about the good times that we have spend in the past... Since I'm new to Trance Addict and I see that many of you have been here for many many years, I was just wondering what were your favorite events/gigs in the past and add a little description about it ;).

Personally, my favorite was Tiesto @ Quebec city last summer for sensation. It was a night where everything blended together perfectly. Many of you that have attended this event will understand where I'm going with this ;). First off, the location was superb, and in my opinion a much much better setup then Bal en Blanc. The place had barely any decor ( I think it had no decor, but not too sure ) so it gave it like a abandoned bunker effect.
The sound system wasn't flawless but much better then bal en blanc and a tad better then the system @ centre bell for the past sensation.
The VJ was out of this world amazing that night. I have never seen that amazing lighting effects with such perfect synchronization with the music.
Then comes the DJ... Tiesto showed us that night that his talent is limitless. He started the night with some tracks from ISOS 7 and ISOS 6 to get the mood started. The first hour was slow and very progressive. The second hour he unleashed his BIG BIG tracks. He played back to back for an hour or so the tracks that made him big. From suburban train to just be to adagio for strings to elements of life to silence and the list goes on. The crowed was insane!! I have never seen a crowed give out that much energy!

a link for that event.
Spin Laden
probably Beach Club Ibiza '07: one of those RARE occasions where music, good friends, cool strangers, hot women, dancefloor space, pricing, quick venue entry and lucky charms cereal all came together at the same time.

Close second would be Heineken boat cruise in Vancouver (and Black and Blue 2005 for the wow factor).
