We continue with the October edition of the monthly Fabricated nights. This month we have guest DJs Jeff Button and Kevin Turner. Jeff Button has been a regular in the Toronto scene alot these days and you can catch him opening for some of the better international guests that come to town. Kevin Turner is coming off a highly successful summer running the popular School Bakery parties. Both DJs are playing the sounds that we at Fabricated love to hear in our city.
"Fabricated" focuses on cutting edge underground house, tech house, and techno music from around the globe (pardon the labels). Showcasing local and international DJ talent, Fabricated Fridays at the intimate Stone Lounge is the perfect place to come for a dance, come for a drink, or come for some musical inspiration. Located in the heart of College Street and Little Italy, Stone Lounge boasts one of the better sound systems in the city and is the perfect setting for a memorable night with old and new friends.

A review of an evening at Fabricated....
So I have to say for starters that the Stone Lounge is an uber cool venue. Many people's thoughts of Little Italy are stereotypical, and don't reflect the tunage that comes out of some of these venues (Stone Lounge, Li'ly, MOD Club, etc...). I ended up going last Friday to see Matt Coleridge, Lee Osborne, and Steve Mac play. man, the place was fantastic!!!!
I forgot how cool Stone Lounge is, and that the sound system is uber fab! There really is nothing like going into the basement of Revival for some great house music. It's somewhat quaint, and on this night, the music was fantastic. I showed up around 12:30am while Lee was rocking it and everyone was having a blast! Not to mention the bar staff down there is totally fantastic!!!
umm.....did I mention the bar staff?!?!?! Cause it's just one chick, and man, not only is she hot, but the service is beyond expectations by a long shot! The girl is so on the ball when it comes to service. So much to the fact that she slings drinks down the bar right into yer in hands!!!! :tongue3 :tongue3
So there's a handful of us grooving to Steve Mac closing the night out, when I realize it's last call at the bar. I'm thinking we're ed cause it's 1:58am and there's a line at the bar. But no my friend....this bartender is such a superstar that not only does she get to our order, but she throws everyone an extra drink for good measure!!!! Needless to say I was very out of shape after that...but still loving the tunage right through till...well.....till I remember waking up at home. :crazy:
For those of you looking for a house & tech-house filled night, I would totally recommend hitting up Fabricated for the next event.
man.....no lines, no cover, great music, and an uber booze-fest at your own discretion!
