Hi , this is an experiment on a trend that happens across producers forums.

People who produce are so critical and mass fights break out in which DAW , VST , hardware are you using threads.

So a a completely experimental exercise , i am going to provide you with a sample and i want everyone to listen and see if you can identify what hardware, software, loops,FX's and what DAW is being used.

Remember , this is an exercise , nothing to be taken seriously , and will sort out the people who know , and those who dont , but flame anyway.

The Sample is 3.18 long and is a remix of a tune circa 1999-2002.

The Daw I'm guessing is either Ableton or Reaper.

Samples I'm guessing is from Venegeance & Loopmasters.

Synth could be any instrument...it's hard to guess. Same with FX.

well i can say it doesn't not sound like it was made in logic or live as their sound engines are quite noticeable

so i am going with fl it

of course you do understand most of the debates surrounding best daw ect comes down to creating the best tracks possible with years of learning and practice not just throwing a few parts together and asking people can you guess what it was made in ;)

well yes technology is alive and kicking new daws and vsts are getting better all of the time.

so it only stands to reason why people kick off.

right now i'm using fm8 and can blabber on about how damn good it is

yet last week it was all about sylenth lol

Morvan
It could use more reverb & more release on the choir/strings.
I don't like kicks when there's no bass.
Introduction to the percussion was too rapid.
That one repeating effect reminds me too much of the screech of death.

I would say Ableton Live.
