Haven't been following Perc lately, he dove deeper huh? Nice...

Throb is definitely the pick on this one.

Are you sure? Most ones here are in mono. What would be the point of having it in stereo when most people are not in a position to hear a proper stereo image anyway (i.e. directly between the left and right speakers)?

Here is a thread about the issue:

If you listen in this clip you'll hear similarities between the kick drums where the kick is sort of doubled up at the end of the bar

Wow thats pretty maximal compared to Mathlete, but I get what you mean, the double kick at the end of each bar. I really wish there were more tracks like this, can't seem to find them. Green 01 reminds me of Throb because of the clap/snare arrangement.

I didn't know clubs are mono :conf: That sucks, I always dreamt of making a track with layers that phase so people could only hear it in certain spots on the floor, I understand the technical problems of the idea but still would be funny.

Enjoyed these recent releases greatly on Ovum, top notch.

DJ Yellow Presents Mindz Control Ultra - Dance With Me/Sleep With Me
Gregor Tresher - 95 Days/The Joker

Chris Liebing reorganization of Counter Clock, never really felt the original. Need to check out the Itamar Sagi EP and the Ribn one.

These are pretty sweet, I like the grainy warehouse feel they have.

Ribn is on my chart brother! His rapidsnare rmx of "This Feeling" is smooth . Also a huge fan of Yellow Man & Gregor Tresher> Germany loves their Treshor--2nd year in a row Raveline magazine has awarded him Producer of the year. I know you got the life wire, but if you dont have "running systems" give it a peep!

Yeah Running Systems is great. Check out Pain Killer and Syncopia. He has a new album out, The Life Wire, didn't get a good review on RA but most of their reviews are whatever. I'll have to check it out.

yea i dont agree with most RA reviews tbh

Perc's remix of DJ Hell Buttersauce is solid. RA writers are Jaded Janes and Snide Sams.
