Sorry for not being trance related but could anyone tell me the name of the original song where they sampled the melody from for the track Edward Maya - Stereo Love ?

I have no clue to be honest , but it does sound like it came from an old folk song .
But for what its worth , Edward Maya also produced Akcent , whats my name , and both melodies are very similar !!
As ashamed as i should be , i think Stereo Love is a great track !!

I've been trying to figure this one out, too! Way too many searches, and all I've found is different variations of Bayatilar...which may have been the original, but there was definitely another one.
The song I remember was a woman singing and the song seemed to be Brazilian/Portuguese (it wasn't Italian, French, Greek or Spanish...but definitely a Latin language), although where I heard it was throughout Europe in the late 80s/early 90s. Many years later, I heard it in Miami. I can hum it, but for the life of me, I can't remember any coherent lyrics to search on! |
