Both teams were worth to be in the final. Cause many players of this two teams have had already a long season in europe: long competitions, champions league (with Roberto Carlos, Ballack, Kahn, ...). Where teams like France and Argentina (which also have many players in the long european competitions) were tired, and as a result they could go home after the first round, Germany and Brasil continued and showed their great talent, despite a long season.
And to zoomp: I don't understand why you can laugh with a goal keeper like Kahn: he showed he was the greatest keeper of the tournament, even risking his own safety in some actions. And making a mistake with the first goal of Ronaldo, shows he's also a human being like any other player at the field. Actually at the half, the stand could already have been 2 - 0 for Brasil with some good scoring opportunities for Ronaldo, but he missed those very good chances ... or maybe it was the superb Kahn who had a hand in it ... |
