| Starting to listen to some rap now since it's been a few months since I have. I need some song reccomendations. Il like all different kinds of rap but I preffer stuff after 1990 or so since I don't really like NWA (but do like Ice Cube and Dre). |

the only hip hop i enjoy is A Tribe Called Quest.... its chill mellow lyrics-defined rap.... nothing about gangbanging or how much money they have, no east coast/west coast BS.... and it all began in 1989... they broke up 2 years ago i believe. I have every CD and they are all great.
