just got home from closing arc at a quarter to one on sunday.
that set was incredible beyond words.
didn't get to see too many TAs, but I hope some of you were there to experience last night's event.
kid nyce - what happened to you?!
roninmess - i knew you could hang in there. did i meet legend?
amdmaxx - were you there?
need to sleep now. hope everyone had as good a weekend as me. |

| went there around 4 to see a line from the hubert st entrance reaching hudson and ive never seen a line there before so i was kind of in awww. find out its $50 to get in. def not paying that so my friend and i leave for factory. arc is done, that place is never gonna be the same again. |

hehe my review...
first off mybads meliss...a friend of mine got kicked out so uhh we had to bounce. my thoughts on ARC...*tears* i felt like i was home...twilo4ever. all the elements from twilo were there. everything, the vibe, the bass(phazon rocked me), the music DT OMFG, the c02 blast omG...my only bad thought about that place was, why didnt they close the doors at a certain time? it was WAYYYY to crowded in there....great club dont get me wrong, just way too many people in there. yea it's a hot ass club...slammin without a doubt. like melli stated before, i think i've found my new home for saturday night! |

i had such a good night. i'm sorry i lost you.
i don't think they wanted to close the doors to anyone so instead they started raising to cover (up to $70 at one point) and trying to convince ppl to get off line early in the morning. it sucks they didn't tell us ahead of time they were gonna do that but I was in early do i didn't really care.
as for the crowd, it didn't matter. cleared out a little around 8 or 9. DT really picked it up around then. danced so much.... |

Mel, great time chillen with you, and closing it out. nah u didn't meet legend, he didn't make it in.
I got there at 12:15am, payed $30, walked in, and Howells was kickin my ass instantly. He spun from open till like 5, then Tenaglia came on...... "its hot as in Kenya in here" BASS DROP and then his rework of rui de silva's "touch me." :eek:
siiick set, probably the best 3 hours of DT ive ever heard, then at 8, howells came back on first spinning the donna summer "i feel loved" danny howells mix/DANNY TENAGLIA REWORK! sick!!!! he then spun for 2 hours, before giving it back up to Tenaglia. Danny mind ed us all night, and the closing 30-45 mins were just not explainible in words.... you had to be there to feel and hear it. melissa can vouche for me. Truely the best party I have ever been to. |

I got in there at around 1 and the cover charge was $40. Arc seemed alot bigger and cleaner than vinyl use to be. I loved the way Phazon vibrated the floor and the light show along with the fog made quite an amazing show. When I got inside I thought the place was well ventelated. By 2:30 Arc was packed and I felt like I was dancing in a sauna. I've never heard Danny Howells spin and I was hoping for some trancier elements or a higher BPM. Due to the heat, discomfort of being crushed and dancing pains creeping up in my legs from Scot Bond the night before, I had to leave at 4:30 so I never had a chance to hear Tenaglia spin.
Arc definately has the potential to run a good party for big DJs such as PVD. I think it's the closest thing to Twlio we are going to see. Just better AC would make the place more comfortable.
