It was a shark but when she was walking out of the bathroom, I showed her right when it was leaving the stage. That pic is still too funny. Did anyone else have ears ringing after?

Hey look I took a cool-ass video. Well except I turned the camera sideways at one point. But besides that.

That video has good sound. Good shots of how packed the crowd is.

Saturday night was a lot of fun, definitely not your typical club night. Doors opened promptly at 9 and the kids came running in, literally. I didn't realize this was an all-age event until I saw some youngins right up front. It was pretty cool though to see a place that size fill up so quickly. It's funny how people respond to certain music. Even if they weren't totally familiar with what Zack was playing they still reacted during the big build ups etc. I think Zack did a nice job of getting the energy up in there early on. People were pumped to see Johnathon Davis. I was interested to hear what he was going to spin since in some youtube videos I've seen, he has been playing like Pantera (is that what they're called??). But, he played more commercial electro-y type of stuff, which wasn't so bad at all. By the time IM came on the bottom floor was rammed! I have never seen them perform live so it was different, but cool! Much more like watching a concert than a dj though lol. I was able to enjoy their set even though i'm not really into heavy metal at all, it wasn't like so so hard. The sound was definitely loud though, you couldn't even really carry on a conversation in the far back of the club.

So after the show, did any of you guys stop and hang out with all the kids a block away from the venue, lol. Walking through them I felt sooo old :(

Pics and vids to come!

:haha:

Fun night overall. Zack played a really great set. IM is extremely talented, even if their style was a bit more rock-influenced than I was expecting. The venue is still one of my favorite layouts though.

Anyone else notice the Deadmau5 mini-posters printed out for Thanksgiving Eve?? I thought it was for Terminal 5, but can't remember for sure. Can anyone else confirm?

Little late on this, but last weekend was insane. I had an absolute blast opening things up, especially given that that venue is one of my former stomping grounds.

Its funny, I had a sort of a musical gameplan in my head going into the night. I wanted to play some more psychedelic prog, and end with some trancier sounds. But for some reason the crowd (a younger one) was really into techier music, so I ended up going that route. Still, was fun to drop some psy-trance towards the end of my set.

Infected Mushroom were fun to watch. I can't say I love their music...a little too much metal...but a hell of a show nontheless.
