so the city of toronto gave it the name "entertainment district" and only allowed clubs to open up in the area. people that move to that area know what goes on there. if they dont like it then they should live elsewhere. adam vaughan is trying to ruin the city for the idiots that made a mistake for moving in to the entertainment district.

it was ok

if you haven't been keeping up with the drama going on around the club district over the past few years i'm sure it was an eye opener

for those of us, i'm sure most of us, who are aware of what's been going on it didn't really offer anything new to the issues

the interviews with gatien and khabouth were good..would rather have seen more time spent talking with them than showing the guys trying to pick up inside the clubs...we already know why people go to the clubs

the problem with the politics involved with closing the clubs is that most of people who want them shut down can vote for that, the people who don't, can't, as most don't live in the area and don't have a say

seriously, francis, what the are you smoking?
anyone who thinks that building across from guv is going to be condos is stupid. the building belongs to Corus Entertainment and is their new headquarters. if you dont know what that is then i suggest you look it up and stop spreading condo rumours.

there is even a big sign that says CORUS on the fence that surrounds the site.

This is true. However they are currently bulding condos just down the street and if you look at the artist rendering on the construction fences, the condos stretch all the way up to Loblaws.

Now these are just renderings but the construction down at sherbourne is already underway.

There is no doubt the area is about to see major change, but the question is how will it impact guv?

Which is why CLUBBERS NEED TO START VOTING FOR COUNCILLORS AND MAYORS in order to call these assclowns to account for their actions

unfortunately, many young people could care less about municipal elections. Only grumpy old ******s, like myself, seem to care and vote.

no condos are being built yet. the only ones that have been announced is rivercity by Urban Capital and designed by Saucier+Perrotte, which isn't anywhere near the guv or where you're saying.

the stuff that you're seeing now is 1. the corus building and sugar beach 2. sherbourne park and 3. soon to be a building for george brown college.

other than that, no plans have been announced for the bayside and parkside parcels of land in the east bayfront community.
