Virus TI key broken!

Cant belive it!
I have a bookshelf above my setup and the missis put her bloody hardback victoria beckham book on it, and it fell and landed corner first on my polar!
One of the keys are broken and lots of plastic bits came out.
Does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to repair it?
Or is it game over? i have the mk1 polar and i know they dont make it anymore.

| Is it just one key? Or are they all busted? You may try opening it up and fixing it yourself. Get a tube of super-glue and glue the pieces back together. Something heavy dropped on my Andromeda's keyboard and one key broke, I opened it up and glued'er back together. ;) |

| Bummer. :( I would contact Access re: getting a new key. It's a fairly common issue with any synthesizer, so I'm sure they keep them in stock. Also, I kinda doubt that the TI2 keys are different than the TI1 keys. Good luck! |

Its just one key, i have thought about opening it up and tryin ta fix it, just dont want to make things worse.

I thought the virus ti mk2 had glossy keys and my mk1 doesn't?
I think i'll contact access and try to get a replacement key.

White key huh? Switch to the pentatonic scale.
If you are married, then she owns half, so technically she broke her own TI Polar. I would just play on your half of the keyboard. |

That could be - I didn't realize that! I would still contact them to see if they have spare TI1 keys in stock. If not, I'll sell you one from my Polar (for $2700). |
