Hi all. I realised not long ago that I have no photos of myself in the places I visited in the last 2 years and would like to change that. Anyone here have any good 'Shop skills or wish to be hired by me next time I am in Montreal or elsewhere outside the US? I go places alone which can explain why I have no photos of myself there but feel I made a mistake not asking around to see if anyone would like to snap me in a few nice locations...

Oh, did I misunderstand? It kinda sounded like you wanted someone to go random places with you and take pics of you :p
So, you want to photoshop your image into pics you've already taken? :wtf: I'm not sure if that's weirder or not :p
For future travels, I suggest getting yourself a cheap, light and portable tripod for your camera, so you can set up a shot then go to stand in it. |

Either/or.
I would be willing to pay someone to do the shots though.
Does the tripod fit all cameras? Should I wait till I get a new camera before buying the tripod? |

| you can buy a tripod at any time, they are not expensive and i think they fit all cameras. but ask a guy at the shop just in case.. |

Does your camera have a small hole in the bottom, with a screw-thread inside it? If so, your camera will fit onto a tripod screw, since they're a standardised size. |

| Use Miksang and photograph the idea of you being in the place, rather you actually being in the place. |

| Personally, I like the idea of photoshopping yourself into pictures. Get a bunch of drunken photos and photoshop those into the pictures. |
