Bell and Telus are suppose to launch their HSPA+ network next month. Which is supposedly covering 93% of the Canadian population.
Some interesting news. Bell is partnering up with AT&T in the US for roaming coverage.
I hope they have a decent voice + data plan.
The ball is now in your court Rogers.
Off topic: Also to Rogers, Bell and Telus. Let WIND Mobile be for the love of god. Also to the CRTC get off your fat as and bitch slap the big 3.

I just hope it will change everything.
I would love to see a cheap unlimited texting to the US though and decent roaming.
One more thing I hope Bell and Telus get the Nokia N900. If they do I am totally switching over. |

Canada is probably the only country where cell phone plans are totally ripping off the customer, everywhere else in the world ppl pay like 20/month for the same thing if not more of what were getting here for 60

all these stupid partnerships im always hearing about, and all these new companies that are supposed be introduced....
i dont see any changes, nor will i expect any changes for a long long time |

If I am not mistaken they are switching over to gsm phones so u can get an unlocked one off of ebay and make it work. Talk to X-Cube about it. |

I always get my Nokia's unlocked :) got to love the web. I hope it gets released soon... I so need a new phone AND I am not getting an iPhone until it runs on 4G.
Only reason why I was worried, because not sure what frequency Telus and Bell are using for their 3G. At least they are using the same one.
Seeing in the US T-Mobile runs on 1700/2100 and AT&T on 850/1900 |

Bell HSPA live :) - I just wonder how much Bell going to charge people for roaming in US now :/ Plus I just wish they got rid of the Government Access Fee and 9-11 fee like Telus.
