ok well that's your opinion bratan!

but here is mine and I don't see how Stanton STR8-100's can be that is:
First of all it's a digital deck where as Technic deck isn't
Digital output [S P/DIF] (Plug straight into MAC/PC or CD-R)
Selectable phono or line output (Plug straight into a board with no phono in)
3.5mm line input (plug portable players into it)
Blue LED's & indicators    (LOOKS AMAZING IN THE DARK)
High torque direct drive motor (2.2 Kgf-cm) 10% MORE THAN TECHNICS!
Height adjustable Skip-proof straight tone arm!!!
Reverse function
Selectable pitch control [+/-8%, +/-16%, +/-25%] MORE THAN TECHNICS!
Adjustable feet (so that whether you ing jump around the room or if someone knocks the table lightly it won't skip)

If you still think they are than that's your opinion but I love my Stanton Str8-100's and that's that!;)

oh and maybe you hated them cause you did not know how to use them properly:eek:

exactly and cuz it's digital, the platter is controled by a chip of some sort. I dono how it is on urs, but on the ones that i had, whenever i would let the record go after u would cue it up, the platter would spin really fast for a second or something which s you up.
What's the point of 3.5mm line input anyway, i mean ok you can play a track through the deck, but you can't adjust the speed...
Blue leds do look awsome, but u can get a blue led kit for techs, and can modify any deck with them urself, just need to know how to do it.
Why would you need to have alot of torque anyway? Your not a hip hop Dj are you? Techs have enough torque, and it just says on paper that stanton have more, in the real world they dont...
Reverse is kindda cool, but again is used mostly by hip hoppers.
str8 tone arm is a str8 tone arm, can't with that, but you don't need it if you are spinning trance... Str8 tone arms are shorter than s-shaped ones, that's why they wear out ur records faster(stanton and vestax have really short ones) Str8 tones arms are good if you are scratching...
Lol, "Selectable pitch control" 8% is enough-that's what techs have, it's harder to beatmatch if your pitch control is set at 25%.
Techs are the best turntables and they have enough of everything and are bult to last. Why do you think every club has them, and not stantons?
Belive me, I do know how to use turntables... There's nothing to understand anyway...

ok fair enough, you made the point clear but why in the hell would "Ministry of Sound and Slinky" install those STR8-100's in their clubs to replace the Technics than?

I was talking to trancearmada.
BTW, MoS booth has 2 stantons, but the majority of the decks are technics... I guess those stantons are for DJs that like to scratch...
