The creation of Dobre & Jamez aka Trancesetters, The Search was originally released on the legendry Dutch label, Touché in 1995; quickly becoming a staple for the likes of Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox. Having been re-issued many times in the past decade and remixed by the likes of Armand Van Helden and Xpress 2, this is a genuine classic track that holds a special place in the memories DJs and fans.
Christian Smith has been at the top of his game for over a decade, but times have never been quite as good as they are right now. His recent production schedule reads like a discography wish list. Christian Smith & John Selway’s “Total Departure” on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label was one of the tunes of 2008 while singles on John Digweed’s Bedrock, Dubfire’s Sci+Tec, Steve Lawler’s Viva label and Renaissance topped charts.
