Problems with M-Audio Firewire 410 + Traktor Pro

Hello people,
I am having problems with my digital setup and I believe its because of the soundcard. I'm hopping someone had the same problem or has any way of helping me.
Let me explain: during the set the sound fails, the tracks keeping playing but no sound is coming out from the monitors. The lights on the soundcard go off (except the power one..it continues on)and the only way of bringing the sound back is by changing the sample rate on the Traktor options, i usually use 44100hz. Just to mention I use a pirate version of Traktor..I think the problem could be that too..
Any help is welcome..

| if u know anyone who has a legit copy of traktor, use your set up with their traktor and see if it happens. i guess that could be a way to test it without having to shell out some cash. |
