so if you had the spare 3k you would waste it on a chef cooking dinner for you?
what did he cook anyways, out of curiosity because even at an upscale restaurant thats quite the bill if it was just a small group of friends.
3k, thats like two airplane tickets to Europe, even less if you get a good deal and then spend the rest and dine in Italy or France for your birthday, only with your sweetheart. That > getting Nobu Matsuhisa to make me some nigirizushi, unless i can go baller on all my birthdays this would not be my first option. |

i dunno - i'd rather spend 3k on a tropical island then dinner.
Plus it's not my thing. My boyfriend takes me to eat Indian Food and I wag my little tail in excitement.
edit - which we are not paying 3k. I just don't have the money... prob half of that for my bf and I total. Mostly because of the hotels. |

Indian is the best fuking food ever!!!!!!!!!! You just haven't had good . I was so scared to try it but it was love at first sight. Now it's like - ummm I got paid todaaay INDIANNNNNNNN.
Or there is this amazing Indian Buffet in Queens that is soooooo fuking delicious. They only have like 7 things to choose from but you walk out so FULL.

i dunno a friend of mine did it and he lives in nyc and everyone chipped in. sorry should have been more specific. i dont remember the exact price, but i thought he said it was like 3k and there were like 15 guests or something like that. this person told me about it several years ago and i remembered thinking, "wow i wanna do that some day".
i love food and i love entertaining guests so i just think that would be a great night. i guess 3k is a little pricey though i dont know what chefs would charge for something like that. maybe jay could give his input since he worked in that industry. |

lol... I've tried but I can't get into it. Maybe I've just been to the wrong places. that curry smell- ugh. Next time I'm in Queens I'll look you up for the address... if I'm feeling adventerous. :p |
