This is the first single from Matias' album coming out soon on Kompakt. I've heard the album in full and this is just one example of its brilliance. He recorded some tracks with upwards of 100 samples made by himself with his own voice and a microphone.
The music has a feeling and a vibe I have not found in much else this year, it feels very urban and raw, very intricate and full yet care-free and not too serious either. This track is on the silly side but there are some absolutely beautiful slow songs in addition to it.
Can't wait to buy the album! |

Really? He had a pretty big hit on Kompakt late last year with "Minimal", I thought most would have heard of him from that :p
He's also the vocalist in Closer Musik with producer Dirk Leyers as well as the head of his own label Comeme :D
Definitely a talent to look out for. |
