haha Keith it looks like Isabel is getting some love on the TA forums :D
Glad to hear Wippenberg was a good set! He ing killed it when I saw him here in Germany a couple months ago, and this was after Kyau & Albert played. His time slot was like 3-4:30 and you better believe my ass was nevertheless dancing like a madman. I love how he can take a tech-house route or a proggy trance route and either way it's beautifully constructed to create an epic evening. Cheers! |

Heh, I will tell her that :p
We both had a great time! Being able to pregame on 6th, walk to the club, and get a $5 taxi back to the hotel is so convenient. Wippenberg was awesome, played pretty much every track I wanted him to play and even took it back 2 years towards the end and played his Should of Known Remix and of course, Needs to Feel Remix.
NYE was a blast, but had too much bs to go with it. That's why I preferred Wippenberg over Once in a Blue Moon. |

Yep. Sure am. :)
Thanks to Jayson telling me who she was before I got back home on TA, I would have had some choice words that would have started a war. :D I can't repeat em because well....that's the thing with Jack Daniels. I get waaaaaaaaaaay too honest.

Me: (after a long string of drunken ramblings I shoulda kept to myself) Goddamn right, wouldn't even know what hit her. She wouldn't walk straight for a week. Hell, all the we dropped on Afganistan during my time in the Marines wouldn't compare to damage I'd do to that...
Jayson: That's Latham's girl dude.
Me: ....... damn. My bad lol. *kills the rest of the glass and sees that its past 2am* ..
|
*ahem* But yeah...she reminded me of my ex. Same build, but mine was taller with brown hair. Hoooookay...*takes another long pull of the liter of Jack* So...
Yeah... :) Anyhow..the show was definitely worth the drive. Andrew said he might book me for an upcoming event. Certainly would be nice to play out again, especially with that sound system. |

OMG! This night was freaking amazing! I knew Wippenberg was going to be badass, but I didnt think it was going to be THAT badass! I danced my ass off. And the place was freaking nuts! Wipp was dropping bombs all night, one after another. It was really one of the best kicking sets I've ever witnessed! Getting to meet and chitchat with him afterwards was awesome too.
Oh...you better ing believe Needs to Feel was dropped and it was done at the most perfect time. It needed to be done and everyone freaked the F out. I know I did.
What was the craziest thing of the night was that Josh Gabriel showed up completely unexpected. I have no idea what he was doing in Austin, but he just showed up to hang out, I guess. I hadn't seen him in a couple of years, so it was crazy to get to say howdy to him.
Partying with you TA's is nuts! I had a great time! I had more fun this night than Ferry at NYE. The hangover this morning wasn't fun, though. |
Definitely a good time. The shots were flowing, mainly because I couldn't stop buying them. :stongue:
Olaf threw it down proper. That was the best set I have heard from any headliner in the last year (09 included). Bruce played a really good set too. Had a great time.
Andrew better book me too, dammit. Loved the club and the sound system. |

hahahhahahaa funny right there!
Latham is a little pimp :)
See you guys in a couple weeks for Mr Tyas and my birthday shenanigans! |

Man I wish I could see Tyas there at the Lounge! I hope it's a great birthday Jayson!
Y'all have a great time and report back with what kind of set Sean plays. I wanna' know how high that BPM actually ends up going hehe. Seven Weeks is still one of my favorite tracks of '09, and maybe he'll drop his W&W - DNA remix!
I'll have to settle for heading to Leeds to see SvD, JOC, Wallbridge, Aly & Fila, and Will Holland in February :D
Woot woot! |
