You can get the tickets online and print them yourself. I don't know if you have to wear a costume but a lot of people are. I doubt they'll reject you at the door but it's fun dressing up!

Yankee- I saw a ton of short shorts on forever21.com and you could order today to get it for Friday. How about wearing leggings under your costume if you can't find shorts?

Seriously, it is a really bad message to send to younger girls. I have 5 sisters under 15 and if I ever saw them wearing some of these costumes I would die ie. that cherry pie costume. So far they seem to know what is appropriate to wear and what isn't and let's hope it stays that way haha.

I am short, I have short legs...I try on this one costume and it literally just covers my ass. I'm thinking, how the hell does anyone wear this and do anything but just stand still. Can't even imagine a slightly taller girl trying to pull it off.

I know girl!! The woman in the pic was like 5'11" tall and the skirt came to mid-thigh. Mind, you I have ordered from this website before and the sizes have been correct, but this time was different. If I even move a little I show half my ass. Being a bigger girl, this is surely not something anyone wants to see (nor do I wanna show). LOL. I will find shorts, no worries to the public in fear!! LMAO!!! :) :) :) :)

yumpop I will definitely try Forever if I get the chance after work friday (ugh I hate working in the bronx!!) :whip:

Kelly, you're just no fun anymore :( Halloween is supposed to be about showing your ass. You're flying in the face of our national tradition!!

untrue my friend. My personal philosophy is about showing one or the other: or ass. are my flash of choice. :haha:

The ass just makes me uber uncomfortable. eek I HATE it. :whip:

I saw the shorts online and didn't go to the store. If you do a rush order today, you could get them by Friday. I am tall and some costumes I tried before ordering from Torrid were really, really short and they were tall and plus costumes. Costume ordering is more screwed up than bridal ordering and I didn't think that was possible.

Definitely not mandatory, but encouraged. I'm sure the majority will be dressed up.

On a side note, I don't think I've been in the city for Halloween in a few years. I love walking around seeing everyone dressed up and having a blast. Definitely one of the most fun nights of the year.

I wonder what the most popular theme will be this year as far as costumes go...I totally forget what big movies came out this year that could spawn good costumes.
chimera66
wolverine might be a big one and the characters from watchmen

yumpop
The big shot game is- take a shot every time you see Michael Jackson, other version, Lady Gaga. I think those will be two big costumes.

Good weather news, only 30% chance right now so hopefully, we won't get rained on.
StarSoprano426
I bet we'll see a lot of Michael Jackson's out on Halloween too.

*edit* Ha, oops, you already said that. Well Michael Jackson and also the characters from Twilight.
