Walking into Wal-Mart This Past Sunday

Ok so I have really long hair and I walked into Wal-Mart on Sunday when all of a sudden a guy on those motor electric devices started talking to me randomly. He said I just broke my wrist had to go to the doctor and got 20,000 dollars in medical bills. I only have 5 dollars to spend on groceries here. Then he drove off talking. The guy was in his 20's and said he did not have a job.

So I was deeply rocked by this. My roommate looks at me and was like did you know him. I told him did you know him? So random.

Next thing I do is I am on the aisle with pringles and a guy is right in my way. He says, "I bet you are gonna ask me to move." I told him if you would not mind I'd like to grab some pringles please. He then moves and tells me about how this woman made him move once and then started going off on how Adam and Eve were on earth and blamed women for everything as I was walking away.

Does anyone have this happen to where random people just tell you how they are hurt or feeling or thinking? Why would random people feel the need to tell you about themselves?

I mean I get the feeling people think I'm Jesus, and I am just a person like anyone else. I'm not special, but why do people confided in me? A random person.

I study psychology. The subject usually comes up within the first few minutes of a conversation with a stranger, at which point some people see it as an invitation to pour their hearts out on me. It happened to me at least a dozen times at work this summer. :conf: :wtf:

what did that have to do with the entire story? :conf:
i think guys with hair past the neck are unattractive :o just my 2c.

as far as the walmart thing, i guess some people feel more comfortable telling their true feelings to a complete stranger than to someone who already knows them & would probably judge them/think differently of them/possibly ruin the perception they have of that person.. if it's a stranger, people care less i spose.. it's easier for others to let out their feelings i guess.

e: damn you pkc

I think it's supposed to tie into the "I get the feeling people think I'm Jesus" thing.

As for people randomly approaching you with their personal : good scowl will generally ward these people off. If I ever went amongst the common people without one, I'd feel downright naked!
