A man found without vital signs following a crash at Kennedy and Ellesmere roads has died.
Witnesses report that a minivan hit a concrete median and burst into flames around 7:15am. But first, investigators believe, the same vehicle was involved in another collision - but sped away from the scene.
The passenger, 30, was killed and the driver, 39, was trapped in the vehicle.
The 39-year-old was freed by emergency crews and rushed to hospital with head injuries and a broken jaw. He remains at Sunnybrook in serious condition.
The eastbound 401 ramp to Kennedy Road in Scarborough was closed as Toronto Police investigated. It has since reopened.

Wow... That is so twisted.
So the driver does a hit & run - and the passenger dies... The driver is going to have some serious issues in/out of jail for sure. |
