The first track is one serious slamming intro!

Sorry it took me so long to reply..

Mixing: Mixing I give a 7 1/2/10

Although its certain that some of these mixes were didnt go unoticable, there were some that did. The only thing I think were a little off were the volumes. First track starts off very crisp and powerfull like where as the second track comes in a bit soft and lower than the original. Concidering it was a short mix set leaving it less time to cue, mixing was still really good. Definitly professional.

Track Selection: Track selection I will give a 7/10

As I was listening I found that the selection of tracks for this set were a little bit more hard housier than the previous, which isnt a bad thing so dont get me wrong. I wouldve ratherd 07 & 01 to be switched around, 07 first & 01 and mixing 01 in after 06 cueing from the breaks wouldve been great. You hit your peak with Dumonde Remix of Dj Snowman, which I feel shouldve been extended a little longer and instead of including K90 track, I wouldve went into Potatoheads - I Wanna Rock (This Place) and left this one extended. Potatoheads is really when you hit your peack of the mix, I was kind of dissapounted that Potatoheads wasnt extended but again just short mixed. I think that #16 couldve definitly been replaced with a better track but then again thats just my opinion. The other tracks were fine with the direction of the mix you were going.

So overall I give this mix an 8/10.

I hope my comments help, let me know what you think.

Track 16 is awesome!!!

Dawn, great mix... Track 16 rocks in my car:

sooo coool...

But: most of the tracks I don't like sooo much... January + March are much more better (my taste).

TR

Dawn: we'll have to go on an autobahn-cruise with your mix in MY car!! :D

thanks for the review, JP. Honest and very detailed, although I don't agree with some of the sleepers/fillers. But that's just tastes...

@JayD: I dunno about the minidisc possibilities, and also spinning is VERY hard on a float, the tables bouncing all over the place, playing with volume/crowd. Some MC action...I don't think it's any good for recording.

@Cyrax: I still didn't contact any labels. Lazy bum Sorry...

@fastmp3: JPloveparade is in charge of the LP pictures, he will be on our float, bringing the cameras.

@TR: sorry I didn't tell ya...thought you'd see it anyway!
sure you can post on ILT, check your mail!

Dawn

I am spoiled I admit! off course something sounds better and better when you listen to it time after time. I think it's more important to look at the first impression a mix or song gives. That is the way you buy cd's in the recordstore: like it or not!

This mix is much better than the commercial Tunnel 21!

Yep we'll have some expensive equipment with us for Loveparade.tk, and some DV video...

Track 16 rocks???? hehe taste taste taste :D
I can imagine why: been visiting hardcore parties since 1993... Hard just isnt hard enough :)

greets,
Dawn

verminator

nice trackselection :)

the schall & lich or something song roxxored :) hehe

you should contact a label soon :)

even a friend of me here in norway got a record deal now, mixing a new hardhouse cd, so i think you can get a deal too.

Bloodflower
Damn!
i mean this is the first dawn mix i heared ever, since i am pretty new TA here ;)

but in my holy onion this is a way more professional than some comercial mixes outthere where u pay like 20€ for a 2CD set that sounds just like some standard ...

i WOULD contact some labels very fast if i where u, would send them the best work u ´ve done already and i guess they will answer shortly, ok of course u dont will earn the money that a PvD may earn for one mix, but ey everyone started small u know? :D

AT LEAST u have to try it...
