Oh, thats another DJ that doesnt like Deadmau5. All I know was his spat with Marcus Schossow.
As an event organizer/promoter, word does go around of the stuff that Deadmau5 asks for, of his moodyness and his being an overall diva. |

Most drama is promoter based. I have seen lots of crap happen to him, such as an opener coming late and cutting back the later DJs instead while giving him (the headliner) a shorter set than the opener. Promoters play favorites with local.
As for the drama with and TAO, you all know how calm I am and trust me that if I was in the same situation he was in, I would be acting the same way. |

| If you ask me. The way that FS was chanting "Dangermouse" was really sarcastic and disrespecful. I don't know if those 2 don't get along or what the deal is, but if I were Joel I would be pretty pissed off about it. FS was up there saying "I looooooovvvvvveeeee Dangermouse!!" In a real rude tone just sarcastic as hell. I'm not even the biggest Deadmau5 fan. Just thought that was a lil childish. Then again I hear the guy from FS that was on the mic was drunk as too so that needs to be taken in to account also. |

He was clearly wasted. He was shouting all kinds of things on the mic. I don't think it was intentional. He was just fxcked up. |

Wasn't there, but based on what I read, that is disrespectful of FS to have the crowd holler out "Dangermouse." That's exactly the type of that haters do. I wonder how FS would have felt if the announcer butchered his name just b4 starting his set |
The only people who take all that "seriously" and have an issue with are people who probably shouldn't be in this business.
If there was a qualm beforehand and all that, sure then see it that way. Otherwise, see it for what it is. The person just having a little fun introducing him. In the end, it made his coming up onto the stage more entertaining, IMO.
Basically, some people just need to lighten up. Sure, don't like it. But that doesn't make it a sign of disrespect.
The way FS did it showed no animosity, hater, anger, mocking, etc toward Deadmau5. It was a person just working the crowd a little (like he ad been doing all set long) to end the set since they basically just had to cut off the music for Deadmau5 to walk up on stage.
And who says that's the type of stuff "haters" do? Sure, someone will call him Dangermouse in a post that's against him....but that doesn't make it something that is simply disrespectful in itself. How it's used is what's important. |

Well, I was right there frantically trying to get FS to stop as Deadmau5 was ready to walk up on stage and didn't see it that way...
....what Jim Carson said is pretty accurate....just I'm not gonna bring up how he was drinking straight out of the bottle (it was champaigne or something else, I dunno). during their set (it's not like he wasn't hiding it...he just had the bottle up there next to al the DJ gear lol)
In the end, I think it was FS just having a little fun more than anything...and the booze helped him a little. If it came off any other way, I don't think that was his intention.
Besides, if saying "I loooooove dangermouse" is offensive, should we all be offended over how he said "I looooveee San Francisco" a bunch of times? |

But it was in San Francisco. I'm sure the crowd would be upset if he shouted "I love San.... Bernardino"
Deadmau5 is on this board, maybe we can end the speculations and get the answer from the man. ;) |

| who the cares what deadmau5 thinks????? christ... the guy is successful at what he does, but as a person he's a complete tool. he makes catchy, mainstream electronic music that is easily digestible and not particularly good, and as to what kind of personal vibe he brings to a party, just look to that cheesy mouse head gimmick he still sports. it's used to mask his lack of personality. |

Who really cares about 99.9% of the stuff that happens to other people in general? The conversation is more about whether FS was disrespectful to Deadmau5 when introducing him, not if Deadmau5 was offended. And does anyone REALLY care if FS was disrespectful... probably not. But it is something to talk about. |

GoVentures would once again like to invite you all to the Sports Arena, the permanent home of all of the rapes and ecstasy deals during this weekend within the entire county of Los Angeles. This year, we would like all of your dreams to explode with glory and happiness as our hallways are filled with the most sparkling and fiery high-classed ravers we have ever recruited into our drugged out premises. If you thought our sweaty hallways were filled to the brim last year, you better be ready to be sloughed off on this year by thousands of MDMA-filled children, ready to give off the most exotic and colorful bodily fluids possible layered onto your skin and clothes.
We will have a fully encircled arena for your travel available. But attempting to dodge the Bro's and Tot's in our fully lit hallway's of the over-used Sports Arena will result in stress and pain as you are unsuccessfully able to dodge the presence of drug users turning your night into a fearful evening of resisting AIDS grime and dried up pre-cum from ecstasy abused penises. The sex appeal we will bring this year is absolutely shattering.
Once again, the finest Asian drug dealers of the entire county will be available for your many substance purchases; this time being loaded with viagra and cialias, so you can that P-tot you've been looking at for multiple underground parties up to this point. No worries - Monster Massive is the place where dreams finally happen. GoVentures is proud to support your ongoing ability to stalk and creep. Our foundation has been built on such direction, with our highest power, DJ Reza, leading the cause of blasting joy.
Our musical realm is filled with much of the same that you have come to know and love. Paul Van Dyk will be headlining our main room, topping off a night of napping in the bleachers and pumping your sweaty fists in the air to 7-minute epic buildups. We decided to skip Drum and Bass this year, seeing as we got tired of booking Dieselboy and Dara over and over again, and decided to add another Trancey-House stage. Honestly though, no one on this stage is worth a ing god damn , and we recommend you stay in the main room which will guaranteed to be filled with the the hundred thousand's of people you are used to, all having a detonatingly great time!
Everything is already in place for yet another blasting year of the Monster Massive Festival. The best representation of the city of Los Angeles possible! If the people of this town are ready to get decimated, it might as well be during such a huge nuclear success of a party as Monster Massive! We are ready to accept your pre-sale money as soon as possible and send you off with a BANG! into our hot and heated venue.
Ecstasy. Rape. Pills. Drugs. Freedom.
The GoVentures Way.
