This is not a joke...most of the local NYC underground Trance stakeholders are involved in this event and we're doing a group email and text blast approximately at Wednesday 10:30PM, exactly 48 hours before our event on Friday 10:30PM when doors open for w/ vodka open bar in the VIP room in Star Lounge! WORD OF MOUTH...spread the word to every Trance body and soul you know locally in NY or even outside!
HOW many trance fans are there really in NY? Let's see how powerful we (the silent but existing trance community in NYC) are when we unite locally grass-roots on 48 hours notice!
*Let's show a mainstream hip hop/house crowd what we're all about (when they peek in to our room!)

10:30-12 DJ Nectra +DJ Adrian De Gar (GreenHaven)
12-2 Ali Mahmud!!! (Mid-Atlantic Trance)
2-3:30 Mike Ragusa (Open Space Productions)
Directions:
Star Lounge 222 W 23rd st (btwn 7th and 8th Ave)
Take C,E or 1,9 to 23st
Age: 21+ strictly - SORRY for you know who you are, you're there in spirit! Keep in touch for events with no age limit!
Admission:
Ask for "48"
FREE before 11PM, $10-15 after REDUCED
IMPORTANT: Mention guestlist of whoever invited you!

Sneakers OK, rags are NOT OK, please respect Star Lounge image...

| I understand what you all are looking to do but have you thought about a weeknight for an event like this? It might be an easier start since there are a lot of big weekend events. I like the concept but it might be better. |

We don't personally book the venue/party.
I think it's a great way to showcase local talent and as for big weekend events, it doesn't seem like there are any big name trance acts this friday.
But a weeknight could be interesting. You should definitely stop by though! |

Yeah we have no control over this event. I would mention it to the promoter, and see what he thinks.

I had an awesome time!!! Will be back next week if GreenHaven are opening things up... It's the perfect pregame spot before anything else you may doing on a Friday night...
I got there by 10:30, rocked out at the open vodka bar (got like 6 drinks)... GreenHaven were rocking out some Moonbeam, Marcus Schossow, and some really sick melodic minimal/trance stuff... Awesome music, and all for free (if you get there in time)! Ended up going to Love for Dub War after GreenHaven's set in great shape, thanks open bar!
Repeat next week!!! |
