Nico Concerto (a.k.a. Nicolas Bouchard-Gosselin) was only 18 when his dream started, as the young deck virtuoso leaves Quebec - his home province - to live an exceptional experience in Cannes, France. What better than to complete one's art in the nicest clubs of de la Croisette, the internationally knownchic avenue of the Côte d'Azur, as he puts the finishing touch of his talent at the DJ Network training center.
Strong from his incredible experience in french land, Nico Concerto comes back in better shape and settles first as resident DJ of the Living Room in Sherbrooke, where he quickly gets known as the rising star of the Estrie region. It is in fact in this club where he will meet Karim Hamrouni - the director - who will help him to distinguish, as well as DJ Skittel'zz, who will give him precious advice on the how to go and also give him his first chance in Montreal, at Unity club, as Nico was only 19 !
The chance working in his favour, it is at Living Room that Nico will be called to signed the first part of the DJ/Producer Eddy Jasmin, also known as "The Prince of House in Montreal", one of his youth idol. It is also at this moment that Nico gets to know Gaëtan Vaudry, of GV Mangement agency, who some weeks later becomes his agent.
With the strong desire to progress his young carreer on solid bases, the young Nico takes the decision to leave the Living Room family and moves his glory to the chic Blanc Bar Lounge of Sherbrooke where a monthly residence awaits him.
It did not take much to get the attention of the metropolis' establishment. First the Complexe Sky that invites Nico to perform at Eddy Jasmin's popular X-Static evening. It is love at first sight with the fans, to such point that Nico will see himself confirm a residency every two months with the famous establishment.
Now only 21 years old, Nico leaves a mark wherever he goes. You can presently listen to him every thursday at Summum Nightclub in Sherbrooke. He is also associated with Complexe Sky and the Parking Nightclub (Boyz Night Out Mondays).
Starting in musical production, Nico Concerto aims nothing less than a carreer that will make him share his music, every where on the globe ! (Picture by Mario Beauchesne)
