The main suspect? The is wrong with you, Ferry has been one of the rare trance producers/DJs who has held any sort of respect amongst the majority of current and/or previous trance listeners :wtf: |

Ferry created the blueprint for unicorn trance with Out Of The Blue which every single trance producer then tried to imitate. So yes, he's the main suspect despite the semi-decent stuff he's made since. |

| yeah, main suspect, that was meant as a joke, i forgot to put it in quotation marks. it's in relation to what ishkur put in his guide, i don't personally think ferry himself ruined trance. he did help make it into what it is today. |

But then again Oakey was the first to start the 'stadium / arena' era in trance and hammer so-called epic trance, which was without a doubt a departure from classic German sound. There are too many DJs to blame for the fall from grace of the genre just to pick one of them and call him 'the main suspect'. |

The main reason was none of the above mentioned. Blaming it on particular djs is ridiculous.
Imo the reason is the lack of creativity and laziness both contributing to the quality of tracks most of the producers churn out these days. |

| There's nothing wrong with the supersaw itself, it's the fault of the producers for beating the sound to death and using it as the centerpiece of rigid, predictable arrangements. |

| i've never liked this track, and i used to love ferry corsten. i think maybe if i listened to trance back in 1998 or whatever i may have felt differently about it- it's just too cheesy imo. |
