| scratch that, i was able to get it working with ableton. i watched a video on youtube that says it has to be setup on port 2 so maybe if i try that in cubase it will work. |

I checked the levels and they are ok. Sound doesn't reach the card anyway I don't think. When I use other programs I am able to get sound so I believe it is the way the sound is routed in cubase or maybe the way the controller is setup. |

you dont need system link active
and deactivate all the ins/outs that you dont use, saves on confusion!
