I'm thinking about grabbing one of these, cause my first gig is in a week, and I wanna record it :D
They're the cheapest portable recorder right now, probably cause M-Audio may have a new model in the wings...So I wanted to know if anyone here has had any experience with this thing.
One question I know I have for sure, is how the included mic sounds...Is it decent, or utter ? |

| They're going for $200 all over the place, like on Amazon. $500 is the MSRP ;) |

The internal mic isn't bad, but if you just want to record form your mixer, you can use an RCA to 3.5mm (1/8") stereo and plug into that the line in.
The digital in isn't worth anything... it's crippled by a low recording volume (mentioned in the manual). |

| I was gonna use the mic to get the 'live' feel. Thanks for your info :) |

Too bad it can only record two tracks... otherwise you could record the live crowd and the mixer stream simultaneously and mix those as you please =).
Just make sure your levels are set properly. |
