Most likely discussed before but search brought nothing up.
Anyone know what he and Mr May used to make sounds with complexities like we hear on ADD and Involver / Invol2ver?
I assume it's some exclusive plugins / hardware, like when BT had glitchy stuff before anyone else. OR is it some kind of crazy wavetable / wavescanning synthesis <----- still scary to me as I haven't dabbled in it yet but I'm considering geting NI Massive. |

may is a heavy user of the virus TI, he released a VirusTI bank after Involver2 came out and most of the atmospheric sounds are on it :) |

I think they just found new ways to use the same old tools. It's not they they invented or developed revolutionary software themselves. |

I see. Pity I only have a Virus B:tongue2
Need to get stuck into the modulation possibilities with this. |

Post a sample. I think a lot of Sasha's stuff has more to do with the chords he uses and the arrangement than the sounds... |

I think a lot of the Airdrawndagger-era sounds get their character from very careful, precise filter work. One of the modules in Reaktor called "Vierring" can get similar stuff if you feed in the right sounds and use the right settings. |
