This Month's Guest: Ad Brown
Earlier this year Ad Brown aka Maxi Valvona was named by music-critics.com as a producer to watch in 2009. He soon delivered on that promise by releasing the EP 'Chasing Rainbows' which secured the 5* Money Shot Review in DJ MAG. He then gained worldwide recognition for one of the most played and sought after bootleg remixes this year…his mix of the prog house classic Holden & Thompson – ‘Nothing’ was championed by thousands of diverse DJs from around the globe, most notably: Sasha, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Gareth Emery and Ferry Corsten and Jaytech. With a slew of releases and remixes forthcoming on labels like microCastle, Black Hole, Anjunadeep, Silk Royal and Curvve, as well as an ever increasing number of live performances, it is very clear this DJ and Producer is set to achieve big things.

Thanks, everyone -- definitely one of my top 5 as well. Ad now has an exclusive with Black Hole with his main production name, "Ad Brown." So, he uses Maxi Valvona as a techier alias with other labels. To make things more confusing, he will be releasing an original with Silk Royal early next year under the name Ad Brown vs. Maxi Valvona. This track, along with his pending remixes of jaytech (anjunadeep) and solarity (enhanced progressive) will be previewed tonight in his mix.
