Hello,
For my decks/mixer in my house I just have them on a normal table with a bit of wood across it. Its now giving me a really sore back/neck having to bend down a little to beatmatch and to mix the tunes etc...after 2/3 hours on my decks its getting really painful and it aint good for the posture :(
Can everyone post suggestion for deckstands that they have, or me even show me homemade ones? The problem is i'm 6'4" and the ones on the market seem to be for a people a little shorter than me.

| I bought a tool work bench at my local hardware store. It is called a Gorilla Bench, cost me about $90 US. It is perfect. I am 6' tall at it is a perfect height. If I think of it I will post a pic. |

build one
go and buy some wood, make a table to suit your height and you're good to go |

I had this problem and came to the conclusion that its cheaper to actully build one as DJ_Shockwav says, or either go to www.sefour.com as they have an awesome turntable stand for sale, but a bit pricey...
PS Also consider HTFR.com, as they have a selection as well

OK, I can't take a picture of mine so here is a picture of it with tools and on it...
I didn't install the drawer on mine as I didn't see a use for it. I got my vinyl crates on the bottom along with the head unit for my stereo. My speakers rest on the top shelf. I put a hook in the pegboard to hang my headphones from. I also customized mine a bit. I painted the shelves, the pegboard, and mounted black lights under the top shelf. I think this is a great way to go. It is made of sturdy metal and holds up to 500lbs. As I said before it cost a bit under $90 with tax at my local hardware store. It probally costs less then making a good one yourself. |

yeah, i know pretty cool eh?
i guess you are shocked at the price?
$299 american is a lot of money..
that's the ONLY coffin i can find on the net that takes 2 turntables in the regular position (not turned sideways), and a 10inch mixer.'
I could probably build one, but, i'm way too lazy. |

I have a Vestax PCV-275 Mixer and from the ground the top of the mixer is at about 40inches. The actually table top is at about 36" (3ft). Like I said I am 6'0" and it is a perfect heighth for me. |
