hey i purchased fl studio 8 at the beginning of the summer. I have a question regarding the program, that seems to be slowing me down. There are some parts of the program, like simsynth that are still being detected as a demo version and will not save when i want to save. how do i change this, if possible? |

I really don't like simsynth. Used it a lot when I was first starting but it was always hard to get decent sounds out of so I wouldn't even worry about it.
Imageline does make a lot of good synths however imo. Some of the newer ones are incredible with their modulation/sound capabilities.
But yeh you would have needed to have bought the XXL version to get that. If you have any other problems I'm an Fl user so feel free to ask whatever youd like. |

If you can, upgrade to FL9 (which you should be able to do if you purchased and downloaded FL8 online).
Within it's plethora of features, when you buy/upgrade, FL9 also comes with SimSynth, DX10 and Wasp. No more worrying about them not saving! (Although Sytrus is still a demo)
If you can't upgrade, next best thing is to export as a .wav and use that sample. |
